Now this really dates me but what the hell! 'The Rise and Fall of Flinglebunt' - The Shadows!!!! I still have it. Just found the remains of my Seven Single collection ... do people BUY these? Vinyl 45RPM.

I know, I remember the album costing me R80 back in the day. I was like std5 when it came out, I still listen to the album every now and again, three little pigs is actually the worst song on the album but still pretty good. It's funny how your first albums stick with you through life, either that or I was just lucky.

Green Jelly was Danny Cary on drums?
The first CD I bought when I was 14 cost R80. I worked weekends in the hardware shop, at R25 a day. Spent most of my hard earned pennies on them silly little discs.

They were by far my favourite band in those days. I know dave owens (vocalist) starting doing alot of his own projects, one of them was N8tive which was a cool acoustic set.

Just googled him, his latest project seems quite promising:

I saw lithium last about 5 years ago at roxy's where they did a reunion gig, still put on a great show. I think squeal also played that evening.

First album was Santana III. Still my favourite along with Gary Moore's Blues For Greeny. Listen to Batuka and Toussant Le Overture from Santana III. WOW.
