It was R1500 and it does look like an amazing tuner, but I just don't need all the preset tunings and the other bells and whistles. If you use a lot of different tunings or downtune or play slide it would probably be exactly what you need. Plus it looks Sci-Fi with all the LEDs and buttons! ?
At my advanced age I am increasingly having a problem with reading the display on tuners. I have a little Roland that works well but is almost impossible to read on the floor. I am not convinced that a Petersen will solve this problem either.
There are those handy little "stick on" tuners, but they usually only work for a standard tuning. I sometimes use drop-D, and occasionally experiment with other tunings, so I'd like something chromatic and with a big, easily read display.
