I think I must visit you! How is that neck? Who made it?
It's a great neck. A medium C profile, so a bit meatier in your hand than a typical modern C Fender neck which I find very comfortable. The compound radius does aid lead guitar playing higher up the neck. It's made by Mighty Mite. I got it through a US dealer called CEG Hardtails. They allow you to select the exact neck you're buying from photos. They also level, crown, dress and micro polish the frets. They even ask you what string gauge you use to cut the nut to your requirements (although I changed it to a Graphtech). It was perfect out the box. I don't think Mighty Mite necks are the most consistent out there, but the one I got is fantastic, probably mostly thanks to the dealer I got it from.

She's a beaut, Mr T. Love the scratchplate and the neck. Did you use a callahan block for the bridge?
Thanks. I got the block a couple of years ago from an Ebay seller on a whim at the same time as a pickup purchase. It's pretty much a no-name steel bridge block, but it made a big difference to sustain especially.
