Hi Guys

I came across this latest Fret-King design by Trevor Wilkinson and thought it was pretty cool!

Very cool. Prefer this one to that gibson auto tuning guitar.
We've posted on this before. It does seem great. Can't wait until the bridge is available as a stand-alone unit.
That's pretty awesome! But I now have 2 questions; Price, and reliability...

Ok I'm guessing price isn't dirt cheap, but I would hope it isn't stratospheric. Anyone have any idea?
And reliability? What are the chances of something going wrong on stage? I hope their microchip isn't powered by Microsoft, cos that stuff will crash ?
wow... bo more having to tune your own guitar or set intonation?
it does it all for you?! do i understand correctly?
the more exciting prospect is how quickly and accurately it can change tunings. And all in an elegant, discreet unit - unlike the Gibson approach. I'd definitely consider putting one of these bridges in my Pacifica.
? mmmmmm and pretty soon they'll make a guitar that one does not need to even play just select a song and press start ...... ?
              yes i'm being very sarcastic ' ........

for me guitars (well the classic designs) are perfect .

anyway learning to tune .and listening to if your guitar loses tuning while you play is part of being a musician and trains your ear ........and i would bet many famous recordings are slightly outa tune in parts which also give the music character .......

i even believe john lennon used to ever so slightly detune his G string in beatle recordings so his aunt could hear what parts he was playing .be that true or urban legend i don't know...... but i do know many classic recording are seldom perfect when it comes to tuning
