Picking up one of these tomorrow. Can't wait...

I've been GASsing for one for a while now - amongst other things I need the exercise (that's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it). An electronic kit also lets me practice with 'phones, keep band practices at sane levels and I can still use all my EZDrummer drum kits when I'm recording.

I got it for an excellent price on the Bothner's Birthday sale - basically half price. The newer version with all mesh heads was a bit out of my price range, but this is both expandable and upgradeable.

I have been gassing one of these too... But now I know that I can't buy anything as I will just be selling everything at the end of the year!

I know! I can't help myself... But it's actually more a case of less stuff I'm not using, more stuff I will...

That is pretty awesome, makes me feel like learning to play drums! Can you get a double bass version? Just add another bass pedal I guess?

You can either add another pedal or use a double pedal - the pad is large enough.

Actually, just going to get this kit this morning - haven't had a chance 'til now...

I got the mesh heads version, and added another tom and cymbal with the actual Hi Hat unit and bigger bass module.

Awesome sound.

Well done Alan you wont be dissapointed.

Yeah I'm pretty happy with it already. So is the drummer I sometimes play with. The mesh heads rock! We were practising the band a few weeks ago and ran late, so we just turned down the PA and carried on practising. I've also been having fun triggering my EZDrummer kits with it - didn't even have to remap instruments.

Planning on getting a three trigger ride and then I'll use the current ride pad as an extra crash (I like having both a dark and a bright crash).
