  • Andy Wood: A guitar god in the making?

To my surprise I couldn't find any topic on this guy ??? ?

To put it simple he is a beast, on Guthrie Govan's level imo and part of the Suhr artists, which says a lot imo.
His credentials are quite amazing to say the least, master mandolin player, shredder like you wouldn't believe - technique to kill for.

Check some of his video's on YouTube

etc.

Like his style a lot, sounds similar to Govan at times, maybe it's that virtuoso sound ?

Just thought I'd share this, I'm definitely going to check out his solo album.
Anyone checked him out before?
Yup. I quite like his technique and he's very much like Govan.
Somehow i just feel his playing lacks some emotion.
    But that's just me.
Very cool.. But in terms of creativity, don't think he's near Guthrie.. especially his legato style

Don't judge him just because he's got a tele...

Judge him 'cause there's too many notes ?

          ? It's a Suhr, so he's been forgiven.
