Honestly, at that age no one is rolling in cash (unless you're some freak of nature) and the most important thing is to just be genuine. Start practicing being considerate
now, especially when you don't have money. It's too easy to just buy things without thinking about it, it's a whole other thing showing you care. It takes practice practice practice!
So often we spend our lives complaining, but if you take a bit of notice you'll see there are people around you (your parents perhaps?) who do considerate things every day. It doesn't just come naturally, it's something you work at. Take note and remember to do the same for others.
Opening the door for women, pushing in her chair, all that crap, sure that's some where to start, but it's superficial and ....pointless. It's got to be the way you live and the way you treat people.
It would be a good idea to make some girl
friends though too. That way you can stop equating them with money.
