Ok... some pictures, not great but maybe a consolation to those who couldn't make it. Really if you could and you didn't, you missed some good live music. So next time....
1st Warren. And I draw your attention to the footwear
The Hinds Brothers. Aden is on the left playing a Martin, Wren is on the right playing a Guild.
Bruynstrust - Richard Bruyns playing lap steel and Mike Burger playing fingerstyle
Now I'm sure you're just dying to know what Mike is playing in that second shot. It's a Breedlove, and it's just a miniature guitar really - the idea is that it's tuned a 4th up from a regular guitar. Mike has taken things further by employing "Nashville tuning" on that instrument. You can use this with a regular guitar as well. The idea is that the 1st and 2nd strings are standard, and 3 to 6 are much lighter than usual and tuned up an octave. It gives a jangly kind of sound, though not exactly the same as a 12-string. It's re-entrant as well, because the 3rd is actually tuned higher than the 1st. It's an interesting effect.
Richard is playing a National Tricone.
Dax Butler (and my Morgan)
And last up were Scott Baldauf and John van Nierop. Scott playing .... well I don't know what kind of mandolin it is, but it's old (older than Ray I believe). John playing his road worn Martin D28. They played "unplugged" - microphones instead of pickups.
