Guitar Tuner pedals..?? which one??

I am thinking of getting a tuner pedal. I am hoping it would be a bit harder to misplace than the current headstock tuners that I cant find... Anything I need to know? look out for?? are they all pretty much the same or do each brand have their own pro's and cons?? will appreciate being steered down the right path on this one.. thanks

Don't have the manual at hand but there are various sensitivities and readout options that you can set it to? Perhaps there's an acoustic setting...

I don't need one on my pedalboard as I am mostly in the studio.....Eleven Rack, POD ....all have tuners and I have a rackmounted Sabine, and so many other various software tuners including Peterson Strobosoft in my computers which I also use to intonate all my guitars with adjustable bridges. I also have iStrobosoft for my iPhone as well as PolyTune, Planet Waves and the Gibson L&M Guitar applications for the iPhone.....and the little Korg GA 40.

Tuners I do not need. Why does everything have to have a tuner in it today? For years and years all I had was one tuner....a Boss TU-6 or whatever it was called.....worked great!

Having said that......were I to buy a stomp tuner to place on my board, it would hands down be the Turbo Tuner.

If I had to have a pedal, I'd be very keen on the tc polly tune thinngy.

So today we did an open air gig... The other guitarist had the PB and I had the polytune. He was really struggeling to see his screen while tuning and took soooo long to tune. I also struggled a bit but we came to the conclusion that mine's display was better for sunlight!

Turbo tuner for me. Tracks very quickly, big display, twirling lights, you can't miss it ?
