Today I was actually almost floored... I checked out some demo's on a Bugera BC30, an amp I thought would be a crappy cheap tube amp.
But first thing I thought was, it looks exactly like a matchless DC30 (my all time favourite amp) then I further realised it sounded extremly similar to a Matchless DC 30.
Only differance is the Matchless is $5000 + and the Bugera $600 ?
Obviously there are differances, but just listenr to the smooth tone, and it seems USER reviews are 99% positive....
Made in China, but then so are the new Vox's
Its switchable to 15 watts (great feature)
The speakers are apparently not bad, quite unique (but imagine Vintage 30's ? ?

So any experience with them? I know the affiliation with Behringer is a scary one, but maybe I should overlook my cork sniffery and just use my ears :/

Who are you and what have you done with Mika? ???

Cool sounding amp though! Stuff I've heard about Bugera: great tone, questionable reliability and consistency.
I know I feel a bit angry with myself for liking it...... I really want to find some reason to say "no way dont need that"
But user reviews all say its great, and it matches up with even the matchless amps.

Biggest fall down of the amp, is I would feel self conscious with one infront of gearheads like myself.... maybe that should make me get one.
again listen to this tone ?
MIKA, what the hell do you want with any power rating under 50 watts? I thought that was for squares, daddy-o.
I never said under 50...... I have always been ok with ac30's and deluxe reverbs....... Maybe deluxe reverbs in the right context.......
          But if I ever did say that then ....... I lied ☹ ☹ ☹ ? ? ?

Just take the badge off ... saw a clip of Phil X in studio showing his peavey classic head without the badge (I think he said it sounded better without the badge) ?
              Hahaha Phil X great guy....
Yeh I was thinking of just buying one then handwriting MAtchlEsS on a torn peice of paper and stiicking it on the amp with some tape... That may annoy some of the other Real MAtchless owners ?

Now I must go find PhilX
Apparently the late great Kurt Cobain used to tape up the Marshall logo's on the amps he used. Normally they would have a preference for them when renting, but Kurt wanted to be different from the 'metal amp wall' people.
I don't know about hollow sounds or rick-'n-bucker but it sounds cool!
