  • HELP with pedalboard and Line selector

I just picked up a boss LS2 line selector hoping it would solve my tap dancing problems but seems to not be working the way I imagined.
I cant get it to do the task I am needing.

Basically I have a clean sound (reverb pedal on / delay pedal on / phaser pedal on)
then I have my drive sound (a stompbox drive pedal on with no other effects on)

Switching between these 2 live requires 4 stomps of the foot ? which is not working very well live.
So I got the LS2 thinking it would work perfectly but it doesnt, no matter how I wire it? the best I have got it to do is run my clean sound (reverb pedal on / delay pedal on / phaser pedal on)
BUT the moment I switch to DRIVE it keeps ALL THE PEDALS going so the phaser etc. is overlaying the drive.....

Can this pedal do what I need? and how will I wire it?

thanks

    yeh fiddling like a banshee but always get both blended or one loop working then the other dead?

    This vid seems to capture what I want to do BUT i still cant figure it out?
      So just to clarify then, you've got something like this:

      guitar -> LS2 input

      LS2 Send A -> Phaser -> Delay -> Reverb -> LS2 Return A
      LS2 Send B -> Drive -> LS2 Return B

      LS2 output -> amp
        :-[ hmmm guess you just helped me solve my problem, I rigged it up like that and i think its working...

        I was running a slightly different setup and about 2 others (trying to just use 2 loops) and not really have "3"
        I rekon that is spot on what I need except I will be short of patch cables now

        THANK YOU SO MUCH...im pretty sure its sorted.(will just need to incoporate the rest of the pedalboard to ultimately get it right)
