Just a reminder that GFSA does not necessarily endorse any posts here and you act on anything read here on your own responsibility and at your own risk.
I say this because I recently loaned some gear to a GFSAer and the gear isn't back and the GFSAer in question shows no signs of being keen to return the borrowed kit and isn't replying to emails.
Sorry to burst any bubbles.
I hear you. I have lost more books and CD's by lending them out than I will care to admit in public. Luckily none to GFSA members, but all to friends and acquiantances that I trusted. I currently have a Zoom GFX5 that I lent to the son of a friend of the missus that I will be lucky to get back. The kid has a blast using it whilst learning to play and I never actually used it that much, so I don't have the heart to ring em up and ask for it back. Aagh well, aardse goed. :-[
Bit different if you lent it out with the specific intention of getting it back soon though, and now the guy/gal isn't returning your mails. That's Seriously not on. >☹ (That can be considered theft if your'e being harsh)
Maybe he just hasn't checked his e-mails for a while. Have you got a number to phone him direct?
