TOMS exclusive Ibanez TS15 head and 1x12 cab...

What an amazing little amp, spend a few hours with one at TOMS Sandton the other day...under R5,000 They sold out all the ones they had in one day, they're getting a few more in this week. They have a 5 or 15 watts switch, one clean channel, and the TS9 channel that has a built in Tubescreamer and a boost switch, both switchable on a footswitch...and an FX loop. We cranked the clean 15watt channel, full power and no breakup at all, pretty amazing. Good looking little amp as well, white...took a pic while I was there.

I just played on one now and it is freaking cool..

Mind you, that Marshall AFD100 just blows everything else out the water. Just a little out my price range.

As for the Ibanez, I might just sell a bunch of gear to get it... hmmm....

I did Don! ? It was an impulse buy that i am NOT regretting.. I'm really loving it! Would like to get a nice overdrive pedal to drive those tubes, because the built in overdrive is very mellow and bluesy, doesn't have enough grit for hard rock stuff! ?

As for the AFD100, that would be wondeful, but 1. I think it's probably 4-5x the price of the Ibanez? and 2. I duno what i'd do with a 100 watts, even 15 watts is flippin' loud! ?

Does it seriously not come with the footswitch and speaker cable as the website suggests?

Ahh, sorry man, I would've except i knew I wouldn't have time this morning. ☹ Sorry. I did go get my amp though. WOW WOW WOW! Love this thing, really really sweet! Will post a video/review of it in a week or so ?

I tried out the marshal class 5 (Coastals has one).. It's a SWEET amp. What I perfered about the ibanez is the versatility. I don't like the fact that the marshal has to be cranked to get that tube overdrive because its flippin' loud when it's cranked to break those tubes. I will be honest, at 1 o'clock, that drive was sounding SWEET!!!! haha..

Pics and clips are coming soon, the next 2 weeks are a little busy for me, but after that got some demo'ing to show ya'll! ?

Mine came with a speaker cable (cheap patch cable) but I had to buy a footswitch. A plain ibanez footswitch is like R200 or something, so wasn't a big deal!

Sure you may. As long as I'm allowed to mention prices on the forum? I know sometimes one isn't allowed.

However, I payed R4500 for the head and cab. That didn't come with a footswitch, that was an additional R210 (wasn't more than R210, could've been less).

Great amp, at that price, definitely worth it in my mind!

I have not yet but I will do so as soon as possible! But I would buy an extra cab or build one! Leave one at church and one for home! Too much to transport! And I want a 15W amp! Will let you know as soon as I gave it a go!

We played around with one at TOMs Sandton....absolute killer amp for the price.....The TS channel is nice low gain OD just asking for something to boost it into insanity....

Also looks really nice in the white finish.

We also A/B'd it against my TC-8W for fun. Both amps sounded really good, yet totally different.
The TC-8W was a lot warmer than the TS on the cleans very Fender like but warmer. the TS had more chime in it's tone.
The TC was a lot dirtier on the OD over the TS......different again but both sounding good...

If I had the cash ATM I'd definitely get one as it sounds so different from my TC amp.

just picked mine up.... amazing price for great sounding amp. Versatility beyond my orange and can be set to 5 watts.
No footswitches available just yet so will have to bide my team.

Effects loop and can be configured with various cabs as well (ohmage wise)

i dont think one can go wrong with these ...

A normal Ibanez two switch footswitch works. I have one and it works well ?

What plan do you guys make in terms of running a little stack like this on a stage in a live setting? Do you angle the cab up so you can hear it? If I have my Marshall combo not angled up facing my ears the volume I've got to crank it to so I can hear it nicely makes my sound guy go absolutely ballistic!

My plan is to angle the cab. but this lil bugger is loud
