You know the saying, that if everything is coming your way, you're going the wrong way?
Well, if all other browsers are working properly, and only blackberry is having a problem, isnt that saying something??
BB is probably optomized for WAP because of their stupidity all those years ago of wanting to be different, go against the rest of the world and not use GSM.
So that is your problem, and i dont see it changing soon, unless you get a better phone, or blackberry release a better browser.
Even squonk has said that his BB torch has no rendering problems.
Why? Newer browser! ?
I think you need to go back and read my posts again. There's an at least equal argument that when I can read many other sites just fine on my BB and GFSA sucks then maybe the problem isn't the BB - especially when I can show that something on the GFSA back end is redirecting and that the pages served up in response to requests from BB are not what are served up to, say, Firefox on a PC.
The problem here is NOT the BB browser.
There's also a pragmatic issue here. You want to reach people? You can be a stick-in-the-mud purist (like me, or like I would be if I had anything to get pure and stick-in-the-muddish about) or you can make things easily accessible. As more and more people use hand-held devices to surf compatibility with the market leading devices is going to be important for all web sites.
I also take the view that it's actually not the end user's job to search for and install apps, upgrade operating systems and so on. It's the programmer's job to make information easily available and readable. The end user just wants to read, post, search and so on.
