MikeM You would. But I still recommend pulling out that plate bypass cap ? And I also still abide by the idea of pulling out one of the cathode bypass caps near the front end. It will tighten up the sound a touch ?
mattyd Woah! My old beaut is getting air time ? I absolutely love her tone, I just never had a cab to go with her so I could only use her in studios where they had cabs. So now the Classic 30 combo serves me a great deal more. I'm glad she went to a good home ? Oh, and my bad about the year. I was sure it said '67. Guess I misread.
nick 2nd channel has solved my issue, stays clean longer as Im obviously not pushing the input so much, need to use the TS9 again to get some dirty which is fine with me 8)
