Hi guys

Just thought I would finally get myself into the forum. Spoke to some guys on the weekend and they suggested getting onto this site. Looks like a great place to pick the brains of serious musos!

I have been playing guitar now for 9 years or so. Learnt Bass, then guitar, then piano. But my natural is rhythm guitar, although I play lead aswell, but only when Im not singing... Lead and singing is not natural... ?

At the moment I have a few instruments that I bought to see what my favorite sound/ style is. But looking to get a Les Paul type guitar as I have the most leaning towards the sound and feel of this type of guitar.

That said my current gear is...
Cort G250 with Seymor Duncans
Washburn Acoustic
Takemine Acoustic
Ibanez Hollow body semi-acoustic
DD-20 (delay)
RC-20 (loop station)
OD-20 (distortion/overdrive)
VOX Brit Boost (valve overdrive)
BF-3 (flanger)
CS-3 (compression/sustainer)
AC-3 (acoustic simulator)
PW-10 (wah-wah)
Korg AX3000G (multi-effects board)

Planning to get a Tokai "Les Paul" copy as I have been amazed at the build quality of this guitar.
Looking forward to chatting to you guys about your opinions and what not...

Hahahaha ....... here are a few guys who would not agree ...... Jimi Hendrix, Mark Farner, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, etc etc etc.

The Tokai LP is a good call, I have one. Really awesome bang for buck ......!
From one newbie who lists their Seymour Duncan Cort at the top of the list to another, welcome.

Thanks Squid... Yeah I really love my Cort now... its about 8 years old now, and about 2 years ago stopped playing it cause its sound just wasnt cutting it, until I put in the duncans... now its a beast... because I have had it so long it feels like a part of me... Oh and I like your list of non-negotiables! ?
