So the guys just released the new album a few weeks ago. It's a combo of a CD and DVD together. I really am one of the biggest fpk fans, but to be honest, I expected a little bit more from them. The CD has four tracks on. The sound is still the same as most of their previously released albums, maybe just a bit heavier. The DVD has all their music videos on, I love it, maybe because I'm also from Bellville and can relate to it. The lyrics are great though, to me they always are. The album's artwork looks really rad! Don't know if you guys are really into the whole Afrikaans Rock scene? But go take a listen to it, it's worth the time ?

I do think aKing has upped the ante a bit, they are really good IMO!

aKing are really doing well I would like to know what there next album would sound like. Should be interesting or lets hope..
Has anybody heard VCK’s new album? I read somewhere that Wynand used a double bass on some of the tracks.

aKing's guud, they have sort of an old school sound that I can't remember what the other band was.....one of my Dad's 70's LP's. Van Coke Kartel rules! I love FPK so they are like a "Bonus Track" on one of the FPK cd's.....hehehe ?

Has anybody heard VCK’s new album? I read somewhere that Wynand used a double bass on some of the tracks.

I went to Look & Listen on Sunday and took a listen at it. It's good, but I guess I like the first album way more. Maybe I should justen listen to it more and get used to the new sound they have. But going to see them tomorrow night at Aandklas. Going to be rad!
