Right some pics of my Strat .... sacrilige to gooi plakkers everywhere ...ja i need to grow up but my aim for this strat is to make it a rat strat ...those familiar with motorbikes will have heard the term rat bike which is used as an adjective to describe a hunk of junk but in my case i want to create a rat looking strat but with sweet tone ..creating a kidna cognitive dissonance.... i love this strat.... last year i went to music connection with my ibby to have some wiring re done and they said it would take 30 minutes so hung about and went browsing as one does ...just looked at a couple of lefties there , MIA strat , squiers and this particular strat ....grooved a bit with em and thought this was the pic of the bunch .....then saw the price tag and yikes my wife will kill me so put it back but an astute saleman (anton - i think)_ saw my interest and like a great salesman started putting the pitch.... anyway end of the day i got this at a fantastic price and thought my wife would kill me a little less so whipped out the credit card .....in hindsight best deal i ever made.
Apple sticker - This is a dig at my bandmates - they all techno philes an all got the latest magafters from apple and i always rip em off ..i put this placker on as a laugh.
Red tape - my nod to the mighty one
crazy clown - reminded me of jack nicolson, one of the greats .
bike club - i am an upstanding member of this fine body of men ....
skull - my elder kids were keen skateboarders an always had pics of skulls and stuff on em ...my nod to my kids....got a couple more to go as i aquire em.
