Haha! Well, that photograph sure is definitive, right? Even if it's a leetle fuzzy. But who cares, because he has a photograph of the thing in BLACK & WHITE, and since no one has taken a black and white picture since 1975, that's pretty good evidence ?
I suspect that guitars worth more like $15,000 than $200,000.
Kids. Something I learned recently about SGs that this illustrates. Checks how very sharply defined the bevels (the sloping bits on the body and in the cutaways) are. They're deep too. They changed this in '64, '65, I think. Because on a lot of them the necks were a little unstable causing tuning problems. Now the only SGs that look like this are the Gibson Custom Shop reissues and a couple of the Asian Clone SGs.
In my opinion, the most wicked looking of all the SGs - the 1960 through '63 models.
