Tonedef's Gear

Norman86

Here's the topic...

Now we await your pics of your gear and rig ?
TONIGHT DAMMIT!!!! >☹

Tonedef

You messing with the wrong stubborn donkey here dude! ?

You're gonna make me waste an entire evening's practice time just to find that F&(%ing cable! >☹

I'll ask the mrs to help me look, she's good at finding my stuff. (Usually because she's the one who picks it up off the floor) ?

Please. For GOD's sake don't make a "Tonedeaf's first tune" thread! ?

Norman86

Don't make me do it!!!!
No pic's of your gear and you will have a new thread tomorrow...
Tonedef in a gstring ? ?

Tonedef

Please meet my kittehs. From light to dark, there's Jade, Hades (a real character) and Lucy Fur (or Basement Cat). Stoutgatte, making a bed of my carry bag. >☹

Strativarius, complete with taped up fretboard and knobs and stuff not mounted. ?

Look at this god-aweful mess ?

My trusty GT-6 and Behringer 1202 mixer

nice! I like the cort! Well done dude!

RobK

Did you get the pickups ok?

StephenG

that Cort is very purdy... ? ? congrats !!!! but u can take the tags and labels off it now, you wont be any less cool if you do..

what i cant figure out , is where are the wires going in the strat?? the wires seem to disappear into a hole in the top of the neck pickup cavity (bottom left of the pic)...
where the hell are they going to from there???

singemonkey

Wait. When did you get the awesome Cort? ???

Now that thing is worthy of some toneriders, methinks. Very pretty guitar.

Looks like the humbucker from RobK will fit into the Strat nicely.

I'm keeping the tags and protective plastic stuff on, I'm gonna play the hell out of it for a couple of years, and then return it for a refund! ?

The red/black wires are 9v power for the built in tuner (sits in the top arch), the gray wire running from the same hole connects to the volume pot to grab a signal to measure.

Got the Cort on Tuesday afternoon, Singe!

+1 I have the Cort M520 which is basically the same as the M600 but less purdy :'( (wanna trade? ?) I put some toneriders in and was quite happy with the change ? But I'd play it for a while and enjoy it and decide about changing the pickups later ? The pickups in the M600 are different to the M520 but I've never tried them so I cant comment on their sound, but I'd imagine its better than the stock pickups of the M520, so keep em for a while ? Also, how much was that Cort AAMOI?

Kalcium

Oh and I think we should all say well done Norman for finally getting these pics out of TD ?

Well shit, after a HERCULEAN effort and hours of digging through drawers and cupboards and boxes 'n shit, and LOTS of cursing and muttering, the missus finally found the cable. Love that woman! :roflmao:

Nice ToneDef ........... are these your bands' "back-up singers?" Cute! ?

Tonedef

They're my fuzz effect!

Both the little ones are (were) orphans, Jade adopted them right away. I love that cat to bits.

I love the standard pups. They're "Duncan-designed" (whatever TF that means).

singemonkey

Presumably made to spec under license by another company.

Hahahah.....if you start training them now, they'll be ready by Xmas...... ?

chris77

He-he... Love the kitties. ?
Congrats on the new Cort as well. Really pretty guitar that. I see quite a few more pretty guits in your future though.... :yup:

Riaan-Combrink

That Cort looks great!

Cort just offers so much bang for the buck - that has been shown over and over amongst the GFSAers.
