Not as good an experience
1) This tiny little text box for typing in
2) No "quote" feature when replying
3) No tools for inserting images, URLs etc or for text formatting
4) Images etc not displayed
5) Hard to see what is quoted from another post and what new text is added
What phone and browser are you using? I've used my phone to browse and post for the past 3 years... No issues like that..
jip... What are you using to browse?

If you can, download opera mini!
Bob, with a BB you can also set the browser to respond like IE or Firefox so you can see the normal PC interface...

As well as phones that run the Android OS

I do not wish to hear any derogatory remarks about people who, through a simple twist of fate come from the Bluff.

Thanks Don, your advice has transformed my surfing experience. On WiFi at least. The GPRS browser seems to be hard configured by Vodacom.

There's even an application that reads your text messages and emails to you while driving. ?

Thanks. I just did. It's a substantial step up. Just need to see if I can get it to work on Wi-Fi and GPRS.

It should... just dont give it a default connection option!

settings, advanced, connection, and then select always ask!

Trouble with that is that is I get as far as settings -> advanced and then there's no connection options. Probably an Opera version issue. I'll have to RTFM
weird.... maybe its not an advanced setting then?!
just look for any connection option in the settings menu, scroll through every available option!
unless its a bb thing! like being able to send items via bluetooth but not receive... that still perplexes me to no end!
Donnovan... How do you set up the bb so that it showa the normal pc view??
When you're in the browser go to Options>Browser Configuration >Browser Identification
