Hi,
Where can I get one to test? Does anyone use it?

Hey,
The plexidrive is very misleading... although its advertised kind of as a "typical plexi" sound in a box, it doesn't really sound like how you'd imagine... it sounds like a 69 plexi on utter steroids, WITH that hot wire mod or what ever it is Rhoads did to his WITH a tubescreamer ? it really kicks but has a hell of alot of gain... its far too much for me. its still a very quiet pedal and behaves itself at volume. Kirk Hammet is their advertising card for the plexi-drive, and its perfect for like thrash and Vai-ish stuff. Try the classic drive, it goes from mild tubescreamer through to driven-plexi-with-Fuzz-face type stuff, is far more flexible and Eric Johnson advertises them so they cant be too bad ? I've got one and lurv the harmonic content it puts out.. the foot switch on mine packed up in the middle of a gig in durban, but details details.... ? Music Connection keeps all the radial stuff in stock

I've got a Hot British (which is from what I've heard the single channel version of the plexi) and I had the switch pack up after about a month of getting the thing. Its fixed now though and the pedal is really nice for the high gain stuff, lots of harmonics etc. I only really use it with the gain right down (around the first notch) and the drive is still very high for my tastes so if you want a more slight tube overdriven tone then I would guess the tonebone classic is more suitable (wouldn't mind getting my hands on one myself).

I just totally freaked out when I saw this demo on youtube. I love this thing!
I like the idea of the 2 channels.
