Pleasure to be here - I have been a passive member for some time and find this a hugely interesting and informative site...

So - this is my first post. I am an independent artist - a guitarist and composer who writes original instrumental pieces. I am currently based in the UK but will be relocating permanently to SA in the next few months and I will be bringing all my guitars with me! I hope to set up my studio there and be an active member of the vibrant music community in SA.

For starters I thought I would say hello by posting one of my pieces - this is a song I wrote for a friend who recently passed away. It is about a solemn promise I gave to the one very special person in my life, to be there when she could not and to pass her love through to our dear friend.

Please let me know what you think of 'The Promise'
