  • Think its about 2k extra...And the BR has portability on its side.
    • Very very nice! Gretsch truly make outstanding sounding and looking guitars
      • http://www.roland.com/products/en/MICRO_BR/index.html

I bought this the other day and I am VERY impressed. Cost me R2,300.00. The sound quality is extremely good and the extras are...I'm getting too excited. Just check out the link ?

(EDIT: Sorry...only saw now that it has already been mentioned)

(EDIT 2: And the microphone is actually pretty damn good, all things considered.)
        • If money and availability wasn't an option, what guitar would you get? Here's mine...The Schecter 30th Anniversary C-1 and the PRS 513 Rosewood (PS. Sorry if this thread already exists, I searched and couldn't find anything like it)
          • Hi all...this is my first post. My car was recently (about a month ago) broken into and, along with a few other things, my guitar and case was stolen. It was a Schecter 006 Extreme Black Cherry and a Gator hardcase. Since then I have been looking to buy a new guitar. If I had a ton of cash lying around, I would have decided on one of these: Ibanez JEM77V PRS Custom 24 PRS 513 Rosewood (*sigh*) Schecter C-1 30th Anniversary Model But as I am NOT the richest person in the world I have FINALLY after much debate, decided on another Schecter. The C-1 FR (Black). I have never been a fan of Black guitars though... I have attached a photo of the guitar from the Schecter website, and here we have some specs: CONSTRUCTION/SCALE: Bolt-on /25.5” BODY: Mahogany NECK/FINGERBOARD: Maple/Rosewood FRETS: 24 Jumbo INLAYS: Dots PICKUPS: Duncan Designed Active HB-105 ELECTRONICS: Vol/Vol/Tone/3-Way BRIDGE: Licensed Floyd Rose BINDING: White TUNERS: Schecter HARDWARE: Black Chrome COLOR: Gloss Black (BLK) I will be replacing much of the hardware (screws, knobs, switch, etc...) with gold ones. The tuners will be replaced by Gold Grover ones and perhaps even a Gold Floyd Rose if I can get someone to buy the black one... So it is here that my journey starts and I will keep you posted with photos...I am picking up the phone to order it now. (They don't sell it in S.A. so I'll need to get it imported.) Wish me luck.
