Hi Guys

I am new here, anyone own a medeli keyboard.
I was told that they are made in the same factory as some of the KORG models

THanks
DD
I used to sell them when I worked at a music store a few years ago. Very similar to the very most basic Yamaha PSR keyboards - actually we sold those as well and the Medelis were identical, barring the logo. Because of this, I always thought they were made by the Chinese manufacturer that built Yamahas. As for the quality, well, like the cheaper Yamaha PSRs, they were cheaply built and were very cheesy sounding. But then at the price and for the target market, that's exactly what's required. These were not pro-level gear, but more for beginners.

If you're looking for a home keyboard for your kids (or yourself) to learn on, I don't think you can go wrong by buying one of these. Otherwise try a Yamaha PSR or a Casio.

If you want a pro-level workstation keyboard, look at a Korg M-series, a Yamaha Motif or a Roland Fantom.

If they're the same price (or very similar), I'd go with the Casio as it has more features and better specs. The Casio also has some nice features for learning to play as well.
Sound like most entry-level keyboards do. No better, no worse - just normal. Is this for yourself or a family member?
