I got a great tip from Allan to get the kids to draw on my guitar and here are the results...

I think it came out BEAUTIFULLY!!! The kids really enjoyed it and they took it very seriously, I was very impressed. They were almost too scared to do it, so they kept the drawings minimal, which works as an overall design. It's a wonderfull way for me to remember the class of 2010.

awesome is the right word to describe it ...........wow looks almost custom shop hehehehehh maybe viccy you can start a sideline biz getting your class to decorate guitars................for a basket full of money hehehheh

Yup. those kids put in a lot of thought. I told them about it in advance and they all thought about what they were going to draw. I still have some room on the back and sides, so I have a few more years out of this guitar. I'd like to still play it with all the drawings on.

That looks really great Viccy. I had no idea what I'd find through the link. But it looks damn good and I'm sure the kids are proud of it.

BTW, saw your zebras for the first time. Renesongs lives just around the corner from you and I finally noticed them on the way to practise. It certainly alleviates the otherwise unrelenting blandness of Harfield Village. Very cool indeed.

How very observant of you! Jason and Lisa were the last two to draw on my guitar. Unfortunately the process was spread over a few days, due to some kids not being at school. It was looking GREAT, but I had a few spaces left over, so I went for one of the younger kids who was leaving. OOps...Jason's wasn't as neat, but then Lisa's minimal approach balanced it out again.

Yup, they sure do brighten up the place! I have to confess I had no part in their production, and now am no longer living there. I think every suburb needs a herd of multicoloured zebras though!
