Today marks a Damn Happy day in my life.......... After buggig people for 2 years (various pedal makers) it seems finally someone smartened up and has taken the design further.

Fuzzy lo fi, octave down coolness..................

Catalinbread are about to come out with the Perseus, which from listening to the teaser mp3's sounds like a much cooler BLue Box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It should be out sometime soon, I expect before christmas if Catalinbread were smart (which the yseem to be because of this pedal)

I am so getting one, so for all you octave fuzz people, Its Coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Just what I've been waiting for. An octave down fuzz pedal to go with my octave up Ottava Magus!

I also love the Blue Box, but there is some room for improvement, so you were right to bug pedal builders. Glad someone listened.

The other option for me is getting an MXR Bass Octave Deluxe again. Very cool, but sold mine to pay the bills and not really lo-fi. A great, huge clean analog octave down sound. Sounded lovely running into a fuzz pedal.

Finances permitting, I'll probably get one of these sooner rather than later.

Catalinbread seem to really be on a roll with new pedal releases. They've been pretty busy for the past 2 years. Thankfully all of them seem to be great as well. 8)

Personally, I'd prefer it to be a <insert name here> of doom. Anything is made immediately cooler by calling it a <insert name here> of doom. Just the way it is. ?

I'm hoping it has controls for volume, fuzz and octave. That way I could dial out some of the fuzz and just have a fuzzy sub octave to run into my existing fuzz pedal - same as I do with my Ottava Magus. Not just volume and fuzz. I can hope, I suppose? ? Otherwise, if the fuzz knob can dial out a lot of the fuzz, but still keeps the octave it would also be cool.

On the other hand I hope it doesn't have the bewildering array of knobs the MI Pollyanna has. ???

Looks awesome! One or two octaves down, volume and blend (like a Blue Box) and cut (must be a tone cut?).

Just bought the Dirty Little Secret from Joel that he bought from MIKA. Hope that third time's the charm. ?

I really need a really amp-like, dynamic overdrive to add some grit to my bassman - since I never get to crank it loud enough to get any kind of overdrive from that sucker at all.

About to join the Catalinbread club. Hoping it lives up to the rave reviews.

I love the way gear flys around this forum...... its great...... The DLS is a great pedal, and there is nothing wrong with it, just hasnt found the right player to merge with..........

Pedals are the pain of my existance..... I cant just find a perfect one ☹
