GFSA 1st Birthday!

I was typing this to a member... You know, it's coming up to a year since I started this forum and I just can't believe how beautifully it's grown! You guys rock and make it so worthwhile with all the stuff you do to help it grow. ...when I realised that it's almost time to celebrate our 1st birthday! Officially, I think the forum first saw day of light on the 15th of October (just 4 days before my birthday, so that helps in remembering it!). So we're just over a month away from a 1-year old forum. Now, what do we do to celebrate???? Norio (A very proud forum-parent ?)

OK Guys - PM me your email addresses and I'll send my account details (if no-one minds - promise I won't spend it on guitars, women and amps). Norio, send me your bank details sometime and I'll deposit it all in one big impressive lookin' lump.

Norio - there's a catch: you have to spend this on yourself, and only for musical gear, a'ight? No food, paying bills, prezzies for the wife, baby clothing... ?

I'll start a topic in the "General Discussion" board to try reach the guys who aren't following this thread too.

Slight change of plans: I'll just post my bank details in this thread and the one I'm busy composing. Those interested in donating can just take those details and deposit directly.

I know not everyone will be able to afford much or anything at all, so all I ask is you donate what you can, be it R1 or R1,000. You wont know who donated what unless you know all our bank a/c numbers which brings me to the next point - well need to identify our contributions somthing like "GFSA - Norio" so you don't confuse our contributions with payments for gear you've sold like one Voxy Lady ?

OK Folks just add the word "Norio" to your deposit to make sure there is no chance of me mistaking it for my own money.
