And it's not a Gio........ ? I was looking for a RG321 fixed bridge, but all the ones that found looked kinda cheap n nasty and 2 that I saw, were priced R2500 and up. I got this one through the junkmail through a nice chap in bedfordview, so after 2-3 days or to-ing and fro-ing with the emails he dropped his price by R400-00 and I said we had a deal...........R2600 isn't a bad price for this guiter. The guy had a 320RG that was also being trimmed, so i have to think a bit more about that. RG470 in a colour called translucent ice........aka..............sparklypurple. I was first thinking to respray the guitar, but it's growing on me. This has all the things that I loved about the gio. 1) Damn fast neck 2) Super Strat shape 3) damn nice guitar to play Without any of the drawbacks. 1) it's a gio 2) it's a gio 3) it's a gio 4) the hardware was crud. 5) it's a gio

Me loves Ibanez RG's long time and the purple is a bonus. I had an Ibanez S470 many moons ago. It was a great guitar. Spend the bucks on pups & pots & wiring if you feel the need but leave the finish be. The world needs more purple guitars imo... ?

But seriously, I love my purple RG's. They are much deeper purple though...

The colour is still not growing on me..........lol.

as for playing this beast....................holy crud it's fast as nuts. Plays very precise, the action is a taaaaaaaaad to high for my liking, but I'll still play around with that over time. Had the HIWATT on 4 last night before the powers that be got home and I could really kick it up.

Now I just have to get used to her because I've been playing with my AR for the last week or two and they are like chalk and cheese.
