We enquired about getting some golden circle tickets just for the sake of it a few weeks back..R650-00. I'm sorry, but DD are not that good to justify asking that type of coin. No wonder they couldn't sell tickets.

Counting crow golden circle only cost me R160-00 5 years ago.

agreed...........then again, U2 ticket prices (for anything half decent) are also a bit roff.

yeah i just think the timing is all wrong...

its that time of year, December, and their tickets are not cheap, and we all got credit cards to pay off with our christmas bonuses... so finding extra cash this time of year for a luxury is a tad difficult..

..so i reckon it would have been much better if they had toured here in 1987 rather..

I think the U2 thing is a little bit more understandable.. They are actually still a pretty big, desirable band. Most SA people think "Ooh U2, they're meant to be really good right? Lets go watch.", and with Duran its more like "Meh, I've heard about them before, but aren't they really old?"

I agree, DD are not that great to justify R650 a ticket for golden circle.
Rammstein cost R350 for a golden circle ticket!

I'm with you on that one, after looking at the layout the R401 tickets seem to be the coolest of the lot and they're R401-00.

In DD's defence though.................they are planning on bringing something new out sometime...........lol.
