You wouldnt perhaps have a page that explains guitar terminology?
You're right - I wouldn't! ? It's a mammoth task to do something like that, probably more suited to a lexicographer (dictionary compiler) than an author. Hmm... my brother-in-law is a world famous (as these things go) lexicographer at Stellies. I'll speak to him some time. Must speak to my better 3/4 too, as she's worked on numerous dictionaries.
One good tip I can give you, is when you find a term or word you don't understand, use google and type in "define:" (without the quotes) and the word or term you want to know about. Google will then search glossaries only for definitions of the word. For instance, if you want to find out the definition of the word "psychoacoustics", type in
"define?sychoacoustics" (note: no space after the ":").
Iam afraid that I dont understand alot of the jargon from the electric world...
That's not surprising - it's a complex topic which incorporates acoustical science, electronics, manufacturing and design, ergonomics, metallurgy and any number of other topics. I've spent the last 25 years with my head deep inside this stuff and am only now beginning to get a good overview of what all is involved.
