Actually, If I'm not mistaken it was Jeff "Skunk" Baxter (Guitarist for Doobie Bros and Steely Dan) who first coined the phrase - so bang goes that theory!

Guys I need help. I've got a bit of a dilema on my hands.
I have two good deals on the plate :

1. Gibson Les Paul Standard - ebony and a 1x12" Tube Marshall Amp
2. Deposit on a 2008 Suzuki GSX-R 600

I saw the bike today and it's a beauty, but I've wanted an LP for so long and the guys gonna do a good deal if I take the amp as well.

What to do !

Well, the fact you are asking this on a guitar forum is probably going to skew the answers somewhat. So I think you don't need an answer from us as you've already decided.

If you really can't decide, toss a coin - before it lands you'll probably find you'll be hoping for one side or the other. Simply go with whatever you were hoping for...

if its a DEPOSIT on a bike, that means you will be paying "potential gear money" for the bike every month... ?
