Congrats Norman, after you've played it for a couple of days, how about a review? ?

I have a slightly lower end Tanglewood acoustic, and it simply plays like a dream, it has a mini jumbo body, with a neck I can only describe as an almost electic feel. Beautiful guitars, and absolutely stunning quality. I it has been a while since you posted this originally, but I am sure that you are enjoying the socks off it.

Norman's Tanglewood is one of the nicest acoustic guitars I've played, it has a beautiful tone, a really nice action and the build quality is superb, incredible value for money I.M.O. :yup: :yup: :yup:

Man, I'm a BIG fan of Tanglewoods, I've never played a bad one and I've never heard anyone who hasn't enjoyed them!

I think my time to get one is here, a parlour tanglewood in the next few months! ?

I was just told by my "financial adviser" (that makes it sound like I pay her, I don't, she's a friend that does a lot of finance stuff) that I should buy a new guitar soon and mark it for "business" because I teach guitar part time, that way I don't pay any tax on that money.. Ahhh, godda love it, so yes, I'll be buying a guitar soon to avoid paying tax.. Beautiful! ?

I bought a dreadnought type acoustic pickguard from stewmac.. fits the guitar well, but, im in two minds as to whether i should fit the damn thing or not...

I love the look both with, and without the pickgaurd...
Opinions?

To get an idea what it looks like with the pickgaurd on, have a look at joels classifieds sale of his tw28 with the cutaway!

Are you a strummer or a finger picker? If you strum and you do so quite hard, like me, I'd suggest putting the pickguard on. If you don't really strum, then I'd leave it off, coz it looks TOO kiff without it on! ?
