Cab for Peavey Classic 30 12" Build (now 2x12" build)

So since the Greenback is serving time inside my Classic 30 I want to build a cab for the Blue Marvel. 1.) What do I build it out of? I have a ton of superwood in the garage but Id imagine this would make it heavy and probably quite bright 2.) Is the baffle or whatever you call the thing that the speaker bolts onto made out of the same stuff as the cab? 3.) Are most cabs fingerjointed at the corners? 4.) What thickness of whatever is answered in 1.) must I use? 5.) Where will I find corner protectors similair to those on the Peavey currently? 6.) Open or closed back, a few forums report the Blue Marvel sounds better in a closed back..

A hairdryer goes a long way to helping with those lifting parts ?
(Heatguns tend to get too hot!)

I found those at Zakspeed but they dont work as the front baffle is recessed ☹

Is this the correct wiring to use if I want to use 2 16 ohm speakers and get a total of 8 ohms? And am I reading it correctly, on the 6.3mm mono jack, the end pin of the jack is the speaker + ?

Yebo Electronics in Boston (next to Brights Hardware), I saw on their website they do various amp parts so check it out.

Also saw those, popped in after work today and asked to see a sample, they are quite big, seem to be made for big 15" bass bins or something ☹

The Greenback arrived today and I have already collected it and installed it into the cab ? Just need to wire it up and then it'll be ready for practice tonight 8)

? Ignore the shoddy looking wiring, that was a temporary solution so I could use it at practice.
