Hotrod Flames... oh how beautiful you are) : Venson 4 string (Not the greatest bass ever, but doesn't sound bad, and it's pretty... Batman would swing this axe) : Schecter ATX Blackjack w/ Seymour Duncans Blackouts (The everyday guitar.. You know you have one of those. The practical one that isn't gonna cost more time and love than a woman due to Floyd Rose II setup time) : Cort something or other semi-acoustic (really pretty guitar imo, in terms of both sound and amazing inlays) : And my Crate GTX65w.
BMU Hotrod flames, oh yeah!! Love the ATX with the Blackouts, I still haven't had a chance to try those pickups. Nice looking gear all around.
needleshy nice, i was looking into buying a schector a few weeks ago, i read a review in guitarist on the C1's and they say that they are pretty awsome. would still like to try one sometime.
singemonkey Yeah. I must say, I do like the Schecter. Nice take on the tuxedo, LP Custom look. The Jackson looks quality.
darxx Yeah the Schecter ATX is a real nice guitar. Comfy to play, and the blackouts actually do sound quite good. As far as actives go, they kick EMG's ass so hard. Although at the same time, I consider the Jackson here to be my most quality guitar as it's a USA model, and so is made and inspected in the Fender USA factory. Really awesome guitar besides for annoying Floyd Roseness, but I guess with a glam guitar Floyd Rose is just a standard sometimes. ? Also, I'm still more fond of the JB/501 pickup combo than the blackouts, coz the blackouts have a really strong mid-ish tone (which can work well, but it's not my preference), whereas the JB/501 combo really cuts through a band for those screaming solos.
