My Birthday Present.....

I know some of you were expecting my next guitar to be the PRS 513....... however, my wife (and Boys) thought otherwise ...... she decided she liked the Gibby Les Paul Customs. In fact, I had no choice, but boy, am I happy!!!!! This must be one of the most beautiful (EBONY) Custom. The guitar arrived this morning, and no, I have not played it yet........ will tonite!!!! Just HAVE TO say "Thanx a million" again to Vic in Stellenbosch, who went out of his way to go "test and check" out the babe for me. Vic, your input and "report back" really decided it, or it may have been a PRS 513....(which will still come, one of these days). I am over the moon with this babe...... BTW. My birthday is still a month away, now how cool is that? I love my wife to bits!!!!! Drool guys........

Thanx a mil guys....... yep, I am a very lucky man,and blessed to have such an incredible wife.......

The guitar is awesome just looking and holding it in your hands. I spent about half an hour with it last night, will have to wait for the weekend to get some decent "playing time"....... very impressed so far..... :woohoo:

I had a white one, a few years ago, my wife did not like the white, she said it looked too plastic, so I took it back and swopped for the Standard (Blah!!!).
I think she felt bad, because I always said it was better than the Standard, so that explains why she got the Black (Ebony) one, which is identical, except for the colour........ and I agree with her, I like it better than the white......hahahaha..... my wife knows the way to her man's heart!!!!! and it's NOT through my stomach.......hahahaha.....

On your actual birthday ,apparently all you're getting is a pair of white cotton gloves to avoid leaving those pesky fingerprints all over it ?

Hahahaha......howzit Flatfourfan, damn, what a small world!!! Taz's folks, Franco and Cathy, and my wife and I have been friends for many years. Franco sponsored Leani with his holsters when we were still shooting and she (my wife) was the SA Ladies Champ.

Ahh!! the stones in the nose.....hahahaha, yeah, well, Eli went through a window last year and cut his nose in half! The stitches are still quite visible!!

Very small world, I was chatting with Tazz the other night and he said that you're a member on here as well. Dude, that is a VERY awesome present. If I asked for a guitar for my birthday I'd probably end up with (well I don't really want to imagine what I'd get, it's too shocking).

Oi vey about the window, I've been through one before at full steam, not a nice site, took a little over 5 years for everything to heal.

I have a major problem now deciding which is my favourite guitar.......hahahaha.....well, like children, no favourites, they all are special with their own unique personalities !!! ?
