Girlfriend bought a black one with the cutaway and built in tuner and Im quite impressed with it. Sounds good and it feels well made.

I duno what I played, but I played one a few months ago, it's one of those guitars i regret not buying.. It was R2000 and it was amazing, really was! Only reason I didn't buy it was because I didn't have that much cash on me and by the time i got home and got back to the store, it was gone!

I think Tanglewood's are a little like martin's in that they sometimes work and sometimes they just don't. I played a R7k Tanglewood and while it was okay, it wasn't worth the price in my books. It just wasn't all that great.

I'm a BIG fan of them though, from that one i played for R2000 ?

compared to the other guits i was looking at, the cort ad810 and yamaha f310, this one seems to have much better things said about it!

I have a Tanglewood Jazz guitar and the body and finishes are top class, The only adjustment I will make is to change the Pickups and the electronics.

+1!!!! that's the one I played, but the one i played had a cut away with a pickup. But was also a TW28! Dude, you're a lucky man! Where'd you get it from?

I wasnt looking for an acoustic with electrics! so this is perfect for me!
one day i might add a pickup etc to it!

WOW!

MUCH better than both the cort and yamaha's i tried before! and thats with buying blind too, never having tried a tanglewood even!
the neck is awesome! small and perfect for me like my strat!
I absolutely love it! i cant wait to get home, tune it up properly and then try it! but it sounds so good!
so far, im very happy! now to save up for a hard case, then my GAS is sustained... till i have cash again :-[ ?
