Guitar flippers.......

I sold my old Jackson PS-4 a while back and regretted it from day one. Maroon in colour, 100% stock and original Japanese model, reverse headstock, double locking. it was a KILLER guitar.

So this morning while out on patrol for another guitar, I come accross this.

Hurts a bit to see it up there, because if it was priced at what I sold it for, i would of bought it back straight away. I sold it with a hard case, stand, strap, a lot of spares, schaller locks for the strap for R2500-00.

I wonder if any of that gear is included in the new sale price of R4000-00???

Everyone is entitled to a bit of profit I guess..........

Sure. If they sell it for that, fair-play to them. I get the impression that super-strats are coming in out of the cold a bit. Maybe you can get more for them now days.

I think that 4K is a tad abitious for the performer, the pick ups aren't great and the licenced bridge isn't the best. 4K is the start of the better Dinky line........and that's a heck of a lot better.

Why don't you contact the person you sold it 2?
Ask him about selling it back to you for the price you sold it 2 him.

The guitar that I saw on Junkmail that I posted the link to IS MY OLD GUITAR The guy that I sold it to for R2500 is now flipping it for R4000. I know it's the same guitar because it has a mark (chip) on the lower section of the top of the guitar from where my belt buckle damaged it.

The more I think of it, the more I don't want it back for what I paid for it..............the pick ups where shite, the bridge always needed adjusting.........bugger it. He can keep it.

I was too harsh, I'll always have a soft spot for Jackson/ Charvel. My next buy after my V and Explorer will be another Jackson.......deff a Dinky.

Talking about these things...even the buttons on ones shirt can cause a rash ?.....once tested a Gibson Les Paul nogal ! at the big B which was really badly damaged with buckle rash....that's just saaaad.

Ive always had a weird thing with pretty guitars and beat up guitars. Most of my guitars are in mint condition because im anal about them, then my beaters... oh shees... those poor things are beat to hell, paint coming off on the arm contours, chips and scratches ?

the only thing dcent on those is the neck, vol pot and pickups, everything else has seen its arse...

Then with my purty guitars, i can shart myself if they even have fingerprints on them ???

I cant make up my mind... >☹
