Very nicely done ? Really enjoy your collab videos. Would love it if you'd do a thread for us on how you normally do it, tips, suggestions, etc. It might inspire some of us to do the same thing.
In this one, that was relatively easy because I worked with a video previously done, I downloaded Christian's video (I don't know if I can type here the name of the software I used to download the videos, "spam"). Then I open that video in my DAW (same as before, ) and take the audio of the video. Now I start the setup of my click (metronome), very tediuos part of the process. Once it is ready, I start the arrengement, recording, etc.
Most of shots are in real time, I record them while filming cause most of them can't be played back. After all music production process I edit my own footage and mix it with, in this case, Christian video in a video editing software with the final music mix. Maybe this part is the hardest of whole process. Once I've finished I upload it as a regular video on YouTube.
In other cases I send mp3 files to other musicians to know the music I want to collab and they send me back their recordings and they upload their own videos and I satrt the whole process, some times it takes 6 or 7 weeks, hahah, heavy!
I hope this can be useful. I'll be happy to answer any questions and, OF COURSE, I'll be happy to be a part of a collab here at GuitarForum.co.za
Thanks!
