what can power a HOLY GRAIL verb

So I have tested out a Holy Grail Verb in the past and DAMN ITS HOT! found one in a shop but didnt have its power supply.
I see it needs a jack that is reversed (dont know what you call it) and it needs 500mha!! ???

So anyone know what can power that beast? I have the Cioks DC10 but seems even that wont work because it has a max of 400mha....

otherwise any other verbs out there that match the holy grail (I am yet to find one)

I was under the impression the Holy Grail only takes 400mA, which is still a heck of a lot considering its function. Are you sure its 500mA?

Ive read on other forums that modding a Holy Grail to take a normal boss input is rather easy. Maybe give that a go

I have the original here with me and it's 9V 500mAh. Maybe one of the smaller AD/DC converter/power supplies could work.

You might have to reverse the positive and negative on the plug though.

Edit: Just saw thatthat particular plug doesn't have a 3.5mm plug (just a normal 3.5mm mono plug should do), so you might have to connect that. Here's a pic of my power supply, with the wiring diagram for the plug on it ?

Check out the malkekko chicklet,not as versatile as the holy grail,considering is only has one mode, but the single mode it has delivers a amazing sound, its supper tiny and uses a lot less power ?

That power requirement for the HG is just WAY to much effort ?

Hey Brent, ive actually been interested in this pedal. Seeming as you own it, maybe you can answer my question. The Wet-reverb pedal, based on what Ive heard on the youtube demo's has this insane 'infinte' reverb hold sound when maxed at 100%. Its great, but something that's too much for me, what happens if you mix it to say 75-85% does it still have that EPIC hall reverb feel without the extremely long tail? Im considering this as an option for my board. Its between this and the EH Holy Grail Plus.

That Wet Verb looks good ?

Checked out the digitech HARDWIRE seems pretty decent aswell. I just want that classic spring verb that you get out a fender amp.

The Boss '63 Reverb is surprisingly good for that. A one trick-pony, but does the trick well. You can get them pretty cheap too.

I actually found the Hardwire Reverb interesting, its a good pedal, but not great IMO. I found that too much of the guitars dry signal came through, and I know that can be changed with the Level knob, but even if the level is set to 75% it still surprisingly subtle. What does it take with that pedal to get that EPIC feel? Aside from that, I really like it.
