Dinosaur-Snr Hi Guys I recently bought a Valve Junior from the States. Its my first Valve amp. ? This thing is seriously loud, and the tone is nothing short of AMAZING!! Let me know what your thoughts are...
aja Congrats dino, you have seen the light! FruitarGeek wrote It looks really simple to operate. hahaha input, volume and power. I like that alot The fender champ is similar. Valve amps generally are simple to operate hehe ?
makepeace Cool amp. If you get bored, or just for the hell of it: http://thetubestore.com/bmtrio.html
Dinosaur-Snr Plug in. Volume up. Rock out. Thanks Guys! Thats what I liked about it. Simplicity. Takes pedals really well as well.

Turned a bottom of the range muddy amp into a bright sounding boutique! Really made the BIGGEST different and the amp is just amazing now, really is!
Charlie4 Hey ! Congrats, heard good things about the EVJ's. Just a question though: You ordered/bought the thing in the States so it uses 120V? I've always thought you can't buy amps from overseas due to the difference in voltage. ??? Do you use a step-up transformer or something to make it work with our 230V?
Dinosaur-Snr Thats right, i bought a Step down transformer from Brights hardware that works like a charm. It converts our 230v down to 120v. If you consider buying an amp from the states, you need to know whats the power comsumption is, in watts, then buy a transformer according to that rating. With the Rand at this stage, its the perfect time to buy! ? Anyone know who can mod this baby in the greater CT area? peace
