Finally a new guitar I like alot.... I have been wanting a jazzmaster for years.... and I was really not keen on a mex classic player..... so this is my japanese j mascis jazzmaster.......... Which is so cool.......
Its sounds great..... and feels like a good solid jazzmaster.....
I have always like Dinosaur JR and j mascis..... so this is a cool signature to have ?

very nice. But tell me, I lose track hey becasue you buy and you sell and I dont know what you got anymore it's like those tricks hiding things under the cups. So what have you got in all?

Ah ile give you a rundown of my gear history... for the year........
START... Korean Fender Lite ash tele (R3000) Sold for (R7000)......... Fender Palo Escrito (R7000) Traded for a Fender Deluxe Stratocaster/ partscaster........ Traded Fender Deluxe Partcaster for 64 Fender Mustang............ Traded Mustang for Eric Clapton strat, sold Eric Clapton Strat...... used cash for this from Ebay...
Also on the side I sold a Aria Diamond from the 60s and various vintage pedals to buy a 50th anniversary deluxe strat (just sold)
But I hope this is done now ☹

the color is a little nerve racking, but I figure for the music i play i can get away with peurple sparkle.......
For surf this thing just rules os ile see if i can demo it a bit....... darn youtube can be a pain though .......

matching headstock is a nice touch.. i loved these till i played one then was disappointed. not because it was bad or anything.. just didnt feel any mojo..
part of the reason i wont touch a gibby sg. looove those.. actually have pains over the sg. but im petrified that i pick one up and i feel... i feel...

that was me with tele's just never got into them... as well as this the eric clapton strat..... no mojo......
this jazzmaster I am feeling, its so big compared to my strat....... so thats cool.... and everything just sounds cool on it thus far.....
The shape is a winner for me...
With my old mustang I also at first was a bit hesitant much like an arranged marriage.. but it really took hold of me eventually and i wish i still had it ☹
you hsould just go force yourself to play an sg for hours and see what happens

I am going by andy mcgibbons today to see if I can organise any new pups for it..... just to give it a bit more depth ....... But the jap ones are not bad by any standard
Nah, I didnt trade it in at marshall, it was a private trade......... The palo escrito was cool though, I just didnt blend with a tele like i wanted
I dont know what the fret markers are..... Ile try find out though ?

got the amp back in order a few days ago..... this guitar has really grown on me....... It takes overdrives and fuzz's so so so so well

yeh J does love some fuzz...... seems to use it quite well on top of all that...... I just like that he has 3 marshalls behgind him at all times......

thanks man....... I have always wanted one and now that i have one its amazing...... its all i expected and more...... you must hurry up and sell something pedal wise so I can come hang out and buy it
