My name's Gideon, and I'm a metal guitarist from Cape Town.

I don't usually join forums or do much online at all, but what the hell ?

I've been playing guitar for a few years now. Started off on a horrible Ritmiller that I bought for fifty bucks from a neighbor who wanted a fix. Moved onto electric guitars a year later, only bought my first amp a few years thereafter. I took it really slowly, and taught myself sound engineering and production over the years.

I only started getting serious about it about a year ago, when I decided to start a band. I am one of the three founding members of Crow Black Sky (You can check it out at www.crowblacksky.com) and I'm the primary songwriter for the band. I handle our recording and production, and from time to time I record other bands too.

I have multiple guitars, I usually just play whatever I'm in the mood for. ?
