Stripped the entire guitar last night and the pick guard was white once upon a 2006 and is now aged.
Thing is that a person can see the shoddy build quality from Fender on this bullet as the tremolo spring thing if attached to the bottom with two screws and the one screw is poking about 2mm out on the pickup channels side.
Im actually thinking of making a mahogany body for it... and if that fails Im thinking that seeing as this body aint really a hectic collectors item that I might get it resprayed... (thinking Nissan Pearl White, Honda Mightnight Purple, Nissan Burnt Orange)
I've been hammered for this on the forum before but take a screw to the local hardware store and match up. I replaced the guard screws on my tele with falt top black ones and it looks awesome! That said, the tele is never for resale (too much duct tape)...
