Our drummer's gear got nicked a few nights ago from his place in kuilsriver. If anyone hears of some dodgy deal going down on a green-ish mapex kit along with bags and chair or if you hear of someone that recently bought some drumming gear at a SUPER awesome price, drop me a line and ill try to follow up. Its really shit that musician's gear is already so freakin expensive then people go and take other muso's stuff! NOT COOL!

sorry to hear the bad new, its the second drummer's gear i have heard that got stolen in the last 2 months.

A few friends of mine, thats in a band, had ALL!!!! there gear stolen that were standing at there practice spot.

The police found it the next day.
this was 3 days ago.

Damn!!! I find the insurance really gets loaded on musical instruments, so invariably we go out and play with uninsured equipment.
A couple of beers later and we're not quite as vigilant as we ought to be... :-[
It worries me as I cannot afford new guitars... >☹

That's real sad to hear. OK...so one buys a real expensive vintage Fender Strat or Les Paul...where do you keep it...how do you protect it from thieves...insureing won't help much...there are not many of these vintage instruments around anymore.. ☹

this is one of the reasons i don't drink anymore. i am super paranoid about gear theft and also can't afford insurance until the band makes it........ bands gonna make it...... bands gonna make it...... ? ?
