So Hi, I'm Damian and despite the intimidation I got from reading a few posts by other users, I'm going to openly admit that I know next to nothing about guitars. Which is funny, because I'm hoping to be a guitarist/vocalist for my band. I was hoping to come on here and learn a thing or two (maybe ten) about guitars, what I should look for, what I should avoid, etc.

I have an acoustic Ritmiiler so there isn't much to be interested in... yet! ? It's all I've ever played, and I realize it's the only sound I know, so there's definitely a lot I need to hear as well, but I'll get there all in good time.

I joined guitar forum because I figured, if there's any place I'm going to learn all I need to about guitars and the like, this would be the place to learn it! And besides, making a few friends who know what they're talking about along the way is never a bad thing!

My music tastes range in the post-hardcore variety, just btw.
