Although this a very very old vid (even way before Racer X), and it sounds rushed for a Satch tune..PG has, without a doubt, put his twist on it making it sound very much like him and not like someone else...by that what i mean is that it sounds like PG covering a JS tune like PG and not like JS.
Which, imo, is quite cool. 8)

I couldn't agree more with Arjun. I STILL prefer Satch's version (no surprise there), but Gilbert made it sound like a Gilbert tune, and that is pure class. Taking someone elses song and making it your own is more difficult than you might think.....

OH almost forgot. Everybody head to YouTube and listen to Paul Gilbert playing and singing the Spice Girls's 2 become 1. Very very impressive, and GREAT use of chords ? Even Satriani mentioned it in an interview.
