To be honest, I haven't checked yet. Worked the whole weekend so the install will have to wait.
I have the trapeze tailpiece on, a bridge and tuners, but I am still waiting for a tonepros ABR and I need to find tuner bushings.I have strung the guitar up in the mean time to let the neck settle.
I was surprised at how light this guitar is compared to my 335. I need to do a bit of a repair in the trussrod cavity as well, Nick agreed to help me with that. I still have to bug him to help me with the soldering, if I can get him away from his new Gibson long enough ?

It's basically an acoustic, I guess. I suppose it must give you an indication of what the central block on the 335 weighs, huh?

Yeh the centre block seems to ad quite a bit. I think at practice volumes this sucker may feed back like a banshee. Dr Vintage sent me detailed installation instructions, seems to be a bree2 to install. Strange that the toughest part to source is the tuner bushings. None of the bushings I have are small enough. May have to let someone ream it for me.

Best avoided unless someone's already messed with the holes. Should be vintage dimentions, no? Are the holes the same size as on your R9? 'Cos your R9 should use the same narrower vintage tuners as opposed to the modern screw-in bushings.

Dude, I totally sympathise with this problem. It had me tearing my hair out.

Gotoh vintage tuners should fit perfectly, and the bushing dimensions should be right?

The bushings are all too big. I have some RS bushings, that would not fit on my LP (too big), I ordered some StewMac bushings that are too big, even tried fender bushings also too big. I posted on the LP forum and it seems I am not the only one who has had problems finding the right size ☹

The whole tuner story is totally opaque. I found it one of the hardest things to figure out about guitar parts. It should be easy. But no.

Still, I reckon it's better to find the right bushings than to ream. Do your LP bushings fit the 330? If so, it might help to narrow your search.
