In fairness it was hanging almost a METER off the floor and was on the wall mount. So I can see how it's my fault...........lol.
Wall mounts can be evil things especially if you leave the lead plugged in My Strat has been pulled off the wall twice and hit the concrete deck. One by my 14 year old daughter and recently by myself. The Strat still plays as sweetly as ever and is at last after 20+ years starting to look what I call a little bit like a the tool of a pro and less like a rich kids toy.
Oh heck, that is major ouch. Makes me wince just thinking about it. I recently started telling myself to unplug the damn chord when the guitar goes on the wallmount.
Pretty impressive that the Strat is still fine. Ibanez look great with those curved backwards headstocks, but boy is it ever a weak spot for breakage, Strat doesn't have that vulnerability.
