Hi there everyone. At last I am going to get involved on- line !
I have been playing guitars since my schooldays and have done the band thing and all.
Gave it a break for many years and got back into playing at music clubs as a solo act but mostly with a vocalist as I have never considered myself able to sing!
Got back into the CT music scene at a local pub and ran open nights there for 2 years until the cops closed the place down for not having an entertainment licence!
Started a 6 piece band but it folded as there is is a lack of money and venues out there to pay the expenses of a big band .
Have this sort of obsession with guitars and sometimes wish I had stuck to stamp collecting as I would have more room in my house !
This place looks like a music shop / museum nowdays.
When gumtree came along with ADSL I started selling off my surplus guitars but at the same time I kept finding old and interesting ones so I wind up selling 5 and buying another 7 !!
I spend most of my time now days setting up guitars for other musos and fixing old ones I buy at the second hand shops .
Anyway I have a few interesting guitars that I need input from some of the learned members here so will get around to posting them on this site and maybe someone can help me !
Most of the info I can find on the internet but I still seem to find the old guitars that just don't feature there. Even some Yamaha and Cort guitars.
Getting late so going to turn in now as a hectic weekend ahead !
